This research attempts
to understand the didactic relationship built up between – and
linking – a sports teacher and his students. The source documents for this
research are papers on the didactic nature of physical education, supplemented
by concepts borrowed from the field of the theory of situations and comparative
didactics.
The context of our study is the sports club and centres on
an ordinary basketball session for 7-10 year old children.
By concentrating on the didactic element/aspect of the exchanges/transactions,
we aim to describe and understand working contents and frameworks,
didactic interaction and the importance of the sports teacher's
concepts/ideas in this process.
