The Schweizerische Zeitschrift für Bildungswissenschaften is a discussion forum for researchers working in the field of educational sciences. It contributes to the development of the educational sciences in that it promotes the exchange of research results and strengthens the relationships between university-based and non-university-based institutions.
Through its selection of topics it reacts to the multifaceted demands on the discipline and contributes to the academic and public discussion. The consistently multi-lingual nature of the journal is meant to provide readers with representational examples of the main trends of research in the various language regions of Switzerland and other countries.
